About Us

iStock_000009623797XSmallMicrosys started life in 1997 and was incorporated in 1998. These were the days when email in business was just starting to take off, and accessing the Internet involved lots loud noises from your modem and a lot of patience.

We have continued to keep up to date with technology, both in terms of the solutions we provide to our customers, and the tools we use to support them.

Our proactive monitoring system is the mainstay of the service we provide, constantly checking all critical aspects of our contract customers systems, allowing us to resolve issues even before they have caused any disruption in most cases.

Many of our customers from then are still with us now, and we like to think this is a result of their trust in us to provide the right solution at a price they can justify, and then keep it running smoothly with our excellent support.

Our team of 5 full time engineers are supported by Neil Stark as managing director and founder with a further 2 support staff.

Based in Edinburgh, we run our business on strong financial foundations, and endeavour to recruit then keep the best people to look after our customers. One of our engineers has been working for us since 1997, with others ranging from 6 to 4 years.

This continuity of staff should not be underestimated when it comes to knowing our customers systems and how they use them, which results in better solutions and faster resolution of issues.

Most of our customers come to us through word of mouth recommendation which, as well as being satisfying for us, means that there is a level of trust from the start which we build on over the years.

Our aim is clear, to listen to what the customer wants, and give them the solution that suits them best and not the one that makes us the most money.
